some sims use the iterate to convergence command and require a different number of iterations on different platforms. These may be borderline cases where the convergence tests are on the edge of passing. The effect is that some monitored quantities differ by more than the default 5% when the number of iterations is different.

These sims have two monitors, an upper and a lower limit, to check that the number of iterations is with the known range.
